Creating Your Change Account

Here is a more detailed description of what’s involved.

  • It is very easy to open a Change Account. Sign Up here and follow these simple steps:

    • Step 1: You’ll need to submit your personal details
    • Step 2: On successfully submitting these details, you’ll receive an email asking you to confirm your email address by clicking the link.
    • Step 3: You’ll then be presented with Your Change Account details on screen and via email: Sort Code, Account Number and User ID.
    • Step 4: You can then have money paid onto Your Change Account, using your Sort Code and Account Number.

Please remember your User ID and do not reveal it to anyone. If you forget your User ID at a later stage, simply click on Forgotten Your User ID? where you login to Your Change Account and a reminder will be sent to your registered email address.

Important: If you change your email address for any reason please make sure that you edit this on Your Change Account by clicking on My Details when you are logged in.

  • If you would like The Change Account to transfer your finances from your old account to your new account, you must first complete a ‘Change Account Paper Based Swich Agreement’ Form which you can download here. We will arrange for the transfer of your Direct Debits and/or Standing Orders*, transfer of funds and closure of your old account as requested on the form.
